We are a family based company formed in 2001, after leaving the Royal Engineers I decided to take the plunge and put my skills and knowledge to best use, establishing GMF builders in Peterborough. I wanted to continue with my passion to work creatively with architecture, traditional building and restoration, to create the perfect home for the clients desires and purpose- whilst maintaining the integrity of the original architecture and features. We are proud that our eldest son joined the team full time in 2016 and has since achieved his construction certificates and level 2 brickwork

What can I say , great from start to finish
Had lots of advice in past when building our extension Graham knows the trade inside out . He came to knock through from house and also remove wall between kitchen and dining room , ordered and fitted steels also did the calculations and did a brilliant job ( all inspected by building inspector) thank you Graham and Michael

Rang to see if they could put a curtain poll up as it was falling down they came very quickly done the job that was asked very good price tidied up after them selves very polite think it was a dad and a son which worked very well together highly recomended thanks guys

Father & son business.Phoned the evening beforehand to confirm details.They arrived on time.Completed the job very well even though they encountered a few unforseen problems.They finished on time & tidied up nicely.I would certainly use them again without hesistation.
