What a beautiful project, a real pleasure to complete. This project was a real labour of love, bespoke details throughout make this a special example of whats possible!
After completing a new build commercial unit for the client he hesitantly invited me to look at his home renovation project, he wasn't reluctant for any reason other than the type of work involved- its much different sympathetically restoring an old character building than to 'throw up' a new build- he had been looking for the right builder for some time.
We discussed his plans and talked through the project, Simon found it comforting that we had experience working on older buildings and therefore instructed me to complete the project.
I think the most noticeable impact was the exposure of the original oak frame to the first floor, which we sympathetically reproduced over the original so we could meet building regulations whilst retaining an original feature.
All the feature beams above doors and under steels are from the original roof.

Following on form this , my client wanted to add some storage and a garden room, we set to work on the design and planning , and ultimately the build , here i show the groundwork involved.
